Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences
Peer Mentoring Program
Postgraduate
Please note: This Peer Mentoring Platform (PMP) is only for FASS Peer Mentors for Semester 1, 2026.
As part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) orientation journey, the Peer Mentoring Program provides new students the opportunity to foster meaningful connections with Peer Mentors and other new students in their early weeks of transitioning into university.
As a Peer Mentor in the FASS Peer Mentoring Program, you will support new students from Weeks 1 to 4 of Semester 1, 2026. Mentoring includes sharing your personal student experience, offering encouragement and check-ins, and guiding new students as they navigate university.
Mentoring is a rewarding opportunity for you to develop your professional and personal skills and expand your network within our FASS community of students and staff.
How do I become a Peer Mentor?
Applications for Semester 1, 2026 have closed, but don't worry as we reopen applications for each semester! If you have any questions in the meantime, contact our FASS Student Affairs and Engagement Team at fass.welcome@sydney.edu.au.
