Faculty of Medicine and Health Peer Mentoring Program

Starting a postgraduate degree can be both exciting and challenging. The FMH Peer Mentoring Program is here to support your transition into university life, help you build valuable skills, meet new people, and feel welcomed into our vibrant student community.

Running from Welcome Week through Week 8 of Semester Two, the program connects new Master of Global Health and Master of Public Health students with experienced senior student mentors.

Your mentor will:

  • Share helpful advice on getting started with postgraduate studies

  • Facilitate conversations with your small peer group

  • Support you in building a sense of connection and belonging

This program is designed to help you make the most of your time at university.
